If you want to ride your bike in a motorcross track and jump at racing speeds you will definetly need to change your suspension to something designed for that purpose. I did a kx250 2004 front fork installation on my 230. Now I am going to purchase the rear from works performance. I will let you know when I go to the motorcross track.
Crf230 2003, bbr linkage, rev box,big bore kit 11:1(240), 15 tooth front sprocket, pro circuit exhaust, kx250 2004 front forx, Taper bars, UFO light kit, works rear shock, 32mm carb, head mods, race clutch.

My wife rides an 04 CRF230 and the progressive springs that were shipped with the bike were so soft that simple braking going down hill would cause the front end to wash and down she would go.

We switched to the BBR springs and the bike is balanced nicely now. Don't even talk to me about that piece of junk Honda calls a rear brake....

but would these springs be good for racing

    by crf100fracer » Fri Apr 14, 2006 10:48 am

I just want to know if the bbr springs would be good to race with because I'm on a tight budget this racing season. How do you set your forks up to be like a kx250s forks?

    bottoming out

I would also like to know if this would bottom out with the bbr springs on a table top, step up, step down, double, triple and any other jumps that the track throughs at yah because I need reliable nonbottoming out springs to race with at the same price or less than the bbr springs.

Face it with all the MODS its a TRAIL-BIKE not a MOTO-X BIKE...its is a bike suited for dualsport or enduro riding when modified not a MotoX bike if ya wanna Moto-X bike buy a "MOTO-X- BIKE" "NOT A TRAIL-BIKE"
