    crf 230 question

    does anyone know of a good headlight unit for this bike that dosent cost an arm and a leg

    wouldnt mind a tail light but not needed

    just a light for up front

    light for 230F

    I actually used a headlight from my xr400, customized aluminum brackets, wired it directly to the battery with an in line fuse, and added an on/off switch right next to the crossbar. Came out looking pretty custom too!

    I had a light but it always killed my battery.

    Hey, i'm getting an acerbis hhd head light,how do i wire it to my 2007crf 230f? can i wire it with a relay? or should i just run it off the battery with a fuse, i use relay all the time when i wire up ligths on my baja truck,so can i use them on my bike?

    Well i guess the relay idea didn't work, it will but if you forget to turn the key off it will stay on, thus draining the battery, so i just wired it to the battery with a fuse and on/off switch...
