230F and 150F use same plastic?

Hi all,

When I finally found a bike I want to keep forever, I decided to spring for graphics. Getting a kit for my 230F from brmoffroad.com. Mine was the first 230 he'd ever done, so I sent him all my plastic so he could make a pattern and keep for future use, and in return he gave me the kit for 1/2 off and mounts it all before returning the plastic. I told him I thought the 150's and 230's had the same plastic so he could do kits off my pattern for both, but I would check and get back to him. Honda Cross-Reference Oem Parts site shows they are all the same '03-'07 -except for the tank shrouds? It shows they use the same tank and I know the seats are the same. Does it seem right that ONLY the tank shrouds are different from 150 to 230? They look the same to me in pics. If anyone knows for sure, I'd appreciate it so I can let him know.

there was a shroud change as you indicated but the body parts are the same for the 150F and the 230F with the exception of the fork/disc guard.

Thanks for the help, Ken. I also just stumbled on a graphics site that lists the same kit for 150/230 for all years. Probably minor changes to the plastics therefore getting a different part #, but the graphics all fit the same?

yes, minor changes so graphics will likely fit across all model years.
