    Need help removing jet needle!

    by blake_97 » Thu Nov 15, 2012 1:17 am

So the other day I was trying to remove the jet needle to adjust it because I have done some modifications. But when I went to undo the link arm locking screw I absolutely stripped the hell out of it! GRRRR  (rookie mistake I know) So I was wondering if it was necessary to remove this screw before removing the retaining spring?

If someone could reply that has experience and has tried it would be great.

    Thanks.

You cannot strip a THREAD by undoing it ,im gonna presume you have knackered the HEAD not the thread ,in which case take it to be drilled out ,DO NOT attempt this yourself or the cost of a carb will be imminent ;)
