    I hear with the baffles out the 230 sounds more like a 450

    I consider any 4-stroke a "thumper". Unless it's a quad, in which case it would be called a "rolling couch" or "port-o-john".

    Mine is and with black electrical tape over the 230 its a 450

    sorry but the 230 is not a thumper. It may sound like one but it isnt. A 450 is definately a thumper, i have a 230 and i love it but its nowhere near a 450.

    Well a pinger it not.... Does not have the hit of my CR… LOL.

    It’s a single 4-stroke. It’s got to be!

    I wasnt calling the 230 a pinger i was refering to the nick name of 2strokes. I no my engines, i take auto class!!!
