A few weeks ago I uncorked, added high flow air filter, and powered up. What a difference. Easily changed the bike.
Well that was step 1.
I always knew I was going to change the suspension next but wasn't sure which route to go. I was stuck on the Competion Werkes shock for a while mainly because people loved it and the Fox believe it or not was fairly hard to come by. Well after trying to compare the two (with very limited information) I got my hands on the Fox shock.
Let me start by saying it isnt on the bike yet (just got it today) but this thing is nice! Extremely well built. Cant wait to slap it on.
So the forks. I was torn about doing the conversion or going Race Tech. Ultimately the conversion just seemed like way too much of an ordeal and getting a bit pricey on top of the shock.
Emulators arrived and will be put in as well. Sticking with stock springs for now as I dont want them too stiff. May change later. Gonna fool around with this set up first.
Im pretty stoked on the whole arrangement. Still need tires (have no idea what route Im going), possibly changing gearing, and that should be it for a while!
