    Meat's 230F build,with Pics of course

    by Meattruck138 » Mon Sep 14, 2009 12:35 pm

Hey all, fairly new to this forum but I figured I'd share my progress. Sold my 96 KX 250 to find a four stroke i could use for trail riding at Hungry Valley. Stumbled upon a beat-up 2004 230F and decided to save it from its previous owner.

So far, rejetted to stocks +1, chopped the box top, debaffled but WITH my own fabricated spark arrestor (gotta stay legal now), and some pro taper bars to top it off. Plastics were shot to hell so they had to be blacked out like all my rides. Gay pillow top grips switched back to stock. No engine stop button, and no starter button, just a quick hot wire to start her up.

Not only does she rip now, but is definately part of my own mulisha joining my 1986 ATC 200X (trikes never go out of style) and my 1200 Sporty. Hope Ya'll enjoy the pics, I had a blast making her my own. Any comments welcome!

Aw no comments. Well here's an update, this thing climbs hills like a i never would have believed. I had two strokes and quads biting their tongues with the verticals i took down.

Even I had doubt about switching from a 2 stroke to this little bike but i'll never go back in my opinion.

What's there to be stuck on. :?:
You remove the air cleaner to let it breath wide open. Then apply stickers all over. The sticky side collects all the dirt so it doesn't enter the air tract. Simple!

man, I need to rethink this. A built up 230 might be a good bike for my son.
That is one sharp looking 230 build AS !!!

~, If I may ask what is the brand of exhaust that is strapped to that 230? I really like the tip on it and how it looks on that! I would like to put one on my 230!
