Hi,
I'm an old guy (46) but new to the site. Great info from so many posters! It's been 20 years since I last owned a bike (YZ250) but I have jumped back in much older & grayer. Two months ago I bought my 12yr old son an '05 CRF 100 and myself an '06 CRF 230, both in pretty good shape. The baffle is gone from the 230; it's running a K&N air filter and BBR Rev box. From reading posts here, I know it should have been re-jetted, but how can I know for sure? I thought I might be able to tell by removing and inspecting the main jet. If that will work, what numbers should I be looking for? I don't have much experience with carb work, but willing to learn. Any help would be appreciated...
