    Seaping oil

    by CapeRR » Fri Dec 19, 2008 7:11 pm

Hey guys, my bike is stored for the winter but I was in the garage today and just happened to notice one of the fins on the head a little dark on the back and maybe half way down the sides. Anyway, I looked closer and noticed that the mid gasket on the engine head is seaping from the back and mid sides, It's probably been like that since I bought the bike this past June but I didn't notice it. It's not wet but dark like it's been seaping and then add some dirt/dust onto it.
Is this common......should I worry about having it fixed??
    Tks

Clean the area and check after the next ride.
Check oil level is ok too.
Could be from when cam cover was off at some stage.
