You wont get bored as fast if you have the 230. The 150 is a good bike, I had one for 1 1/2 years and i really liked it, its a good starter bike. But in the long run the 230 is best. When i rode both bikes the 230 feels the same, exept it has more power.

    The 230 no doubt.
Don't ride a 250R or you will want that too.

First bike 230 much easier on the pocket.

It starts,it runs,it gets to where all CRFs can get to without the valve or valve plate dramas

In the time it takes you to learn to ride it.

My son is just 14, same height and weight as you and the 230 is great. He has been able to ride it for 15 months now and is looking for something faster.

Have you tried a 230 for seat height yet and did your feet make the ground. If not there is some adjustments you can make.

As I and others have said, the 230 would be a great bike for you to start with as long as you can pick it up on to two wheels again, if you have a tumble.

Don't worry about falling off. Even world champions fall off. That is why we wear helmets ALWAYS as well as boots etc.
