Ok I went out on friday for about 3 hours all seemed good didnt notice anything different..

This morning I go to get my bike ready and theres a puddle of oil? under the crankcase breather valve...I check the valve and yes drops of the oil were in/on it. I think its oil (whatelse could it be) but it dosnt smell like oil.. I check oil level its good...


ummm so whats wrong its never done this before this is the thrid time i'v been out on this oil change.. I changed the oil a month ago...

the one thing i did do different was.... before the ride i cleaned the air filter...washed it let it dry for 3 days... re oiled and installed went for my ride... could it be i put to much oil on the air filter? and while it sat for a day and a half the oil seeped from the filter?

should i take the bike in to be looked at?

ok i now believe its air filter oil. the puddle of oil is the same colour as my air filter oil...

since i'm a noob how much oil do you put on the air filter? and if some of this oil was sucked in the carb would this damage anything? like engine or would it of just be burned off...?

for how much oil, put the filter in a plastic bag with the oil and squish around, pull filter out and squeeze excess oil out
