hi , i'm Andrea From Sicily Island- Italy, and i have got an crf 230 Enduro december 2003
Here in italy many people who have the 230 crf remove the digital speedometer
Remove the digital speedometer because the battery discharge
I do not because I want to remove it is beautiful and useful, and I wanted to know if you had also accused these problems and how they were resolved
You have the schematic by sending email?
I could eliminate the positive drive, and put it with a switch? And thus solve the problem?

The US version of the 230 does not have a speedometer.

yea installing a switch is a good idea, we in the U.S. do not have the digital speedometer so we cannot send you a schematic but with a test light you could find out which wire is the "hot at all times" wire and put you a switch inline.

in the uk we use a battery operated trailtech unit very good and uses own battery
