    230 fuel screw??

    by CO-one2five » Sun Nov 25, 2007 3:01 pm

Is this the same as the "pilot screw" the manual references?

The "pilot screw" is on the bottom of the outlet (engine side) and is brass with a small screwdriver slot.

    Thanks.

no, the fuel screw is on the outside of the carb, a d-shape screw on the front side toward the engine. i don't know what you're talking about though...

Yes, on the outside of the carb on the bottom side of the carb exit which leads to the cylinder head. The one on my wifes is not d-shaped though. It is round with knurles around the outside and a small screwdriver slot.

hmm, that's odd. is it the stock 26mm carb? i've seen a 30mm with a fuel screw like that, and the old 200cc honda 3 & 4 wheelers had that style fuel screw...
