It is me again. My step sons 06 230 is not getting enough fuel in the carb. It starts but won't stay running. The battery is fully charge. I drained the bowls and there was hardly any fuel.

It is has a 132main with a 48 pilot, needle in the 4th position, with the baffle out and a UNI filter. I will tear the carb apart tomorrow, any suggestions??

I finally get mine running great and now his is tits up, what the hell???????????  :-x

Will it stay running with the choke on?

Let me guess it does and you haven't checked the pilot jet? :D If so, you have a cheap and easy to fix problem. :D Just blow air threw the pilot jet from a compressor and fixed! :D

No it won't run with the choke on or off. Just not enough fuel.

Fixed, it will only run in the reserve position. Time to go to Honda for parts.

sounds to me like the "on" position on the petcock is clogged up.

just turn fuel off, pull fuel line off carb, turn fuel on reserve to drain tank, then blow air back through the fuel line while the petcock is "on" and "reserve", then flush clean gas or mineral spirits through the tank to clean out whatever was clogging it up.

that might fix your problem
