Hey guys - funny thing happened to me I was looking at buying a used 230 from a guy and right before I was about to leave to meet him he called and said his dad and he had adjusted the clutch cable and it snapped.....well I turned that deal down and went at my other alternative ....bought it a 2005 230 for $2200 - in great condition....well second day I rode it - clutch cable snapped??? I never touched it - could use some help in getting one as well as how they are installed and the routing of the cables - looks to me that the cable should be in line with the clutch connection?? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Well it was an 1.5 drive to that guys house plus he owed Honda Finance $ on the bike whereas the dealership was ready to deal - have you ever heard of them snapping? The dealership is going to order one for me Monday - but man I wanted to ride this weekend - its a great bike to ride behind my sons Yamaha TTR50..........

yea cables snap wear fray seize and all kinds of stuff all the time
i hear ya
but
ttr50!!!!
you should be in 1st gear low and keep up with him
if i was you i would get the 230 for serious riding (as serious as it can go lol) and buy a pit bike to follow your son
wait what do you ride
if its trails than you picked a good choice with the 230 if its mx then take the above advice into consideration
lol
