the euro models come with them.

it would be wayyyy more expensive to source one than to just fab your own up from some other model here in the states

Hey go look at the '08 CRF230L they have a disc brake and its the same bike as the 230f. Just street legal. You could prob order the whole assembly at your local dealer.
You're only as good as your bike
and I ride a honda thats why I'm so good

yeah thats what i was saying, lol

many people have looked (incl. me) and no one can seem to find somewhere that would ship the parts to the US.

not to mention getting raped by the exchange rate.

The 230L has little in common with the 230F, not saying it wouldn't work but as heybuddy said more expensive than doing a conversion.

it would be much easier and cheapr to source something off an early 90's cr80 or something of the likes. im sure theres tons of rolling frames out there with blown motors that the whole bike could be had for cheaper than sourcing the OEM parts from honda.

i have been searching for a hand lever that I can throw to the rear wheel.... not as easy a mod as you think. the hardest part is finding the proper cable stop and where to mount it...

now a rear disc would solve that whole issue and give far superior braking

as far as converting the 230 to a disc... that would be a major deal.... the biggest issues,

a whole new wheel setup for a disc,,, then somehow mount or weld the brake "hoods" to the rear swingarm... no easy task

    K D’s 230 with a 1997? Cr250 wheel and axel.
Not as hard or expensive as you may think.
