    More questions...

    by RedneckDriver » Sun Aug 05, 2007 2:16 pm

I'm planning on getting a 230F sometime this week. I'm making decisions on what all mods to put on it after I get it broke in good, and after I get the money. So far I'm thinking:
    -Powerup kit
    -TwinAir filter
    -Uncorked airbox, and modified exaust
    -TrailTech Vapor Computer
-stiff rate springs (not sure of front, rear, or both)
    -And maybe a lighter flywheel
I can't find the last thing on the list. Someone please tell me where I could find one, or If I could take the stock one to a machine shop to be lightened.

I would ride it first before modding anything to see how you want of like the power delivered and get it tuned through the carb stock first.

Then start making a list - most sounds good but I would kill the lighter flywheel on a 230f and not sure where you can get one either. Yeah you can always have it tunred on a lathe and rebalanced.

Have fun on your new bike!

The best suggestion - Make sure you have a manual!

Well, you can never go too fast, or have too much power.
I never have had a bike where I put power mods on it, just because I never did take the time to order and install them. So when I get this one, I'm gonna be broke all the time, cuz' I'm finally putting all the stuff I want on it, without a second thought. And I'm not sure about the flywheel yet, but the others are for sure in the near future.
