There are some tools you will need.
Lock nut wrench. http://www.motionpro.com/motorcycle/too ... for_honda/ get this, it works on the clutch center lock nut and the oil filter rotor lock nut.

And a clutch center holder. http://www.m-and-d.com/search.html there is no pic of the part at this link and it sounds like you need to buy and combine two parts, “holder plate” & “collar A” {I did not want to pay for this tool, so I made my own from a 2” x 1’6” piece of ¼” or 3/16” aluminum bar stock. I transferred the hole pattern from the lifter plate then drilled the bar stock. I used ½” long plastic washers (from the specialty hardware drawers) to bring the plate out past the clutch center. The lifter plate bolts are to short for this application but the short case bolts worked fine.}

Last but not leased you will need a gear holder. 07724-0010100 [not available in the US] or 07724-001A100 [I could not find one any where] if you can find one for $25 to $30 then get one [and then tell me so I can too]
I used a penny. (don’t tell the Feds ;) ) just be careful not to shred pieces of it in to your motor. If it starts to, then switch to a fresh penny.

I highly recommend you use a service manual and a good torque wrench.

As far as parts go I recommend heavy-duty springs. Ken has a great price on a complete kit. He might be able to find some of those tools as well
