    Front suspension done!

    I finally finished up the front end on my bike. I put '87 CR250 forks on. Gonna take her out tomorrow & see how she rides. Im excited!

    I was at the honda shop today and I noticed that the new XR600L's have forks that are VERY similar, if not the same ones as these. I find that kind of amusing that they still use these forks!

    Excellent choice! Looks good dude. 8) What weight oil did you use?
    You might want to pass that brake line on the inside, keep it from getting snagged or ruptured.

    Looks good and hope it goes better.

    What bits did you use for the triple clamp etc.
    Did you lose any lock in doing it?

    Should be heaps plusher over the rough stuff anyway.

    Back from riding today. Its much much better. Soaks up bumps with ease. I only bottomed out once, but it was my fault. Its defenetly worth it!

    Im not sure what weight is in it. The local honda shop replaced the seals & oil before I put the forks in. I used the same '87 250 clamps also.

    Thanks for pointing out the brake line. I didnt even notice I did that!. Got it re routed in 5 mins :D
