Well folks two saturdays ago I traded in my 230 for a cr250 and the following monday someone stole it from the dealer. I just received a call from the sheriffs office and it had been involved in a hit and run. They called me out to identify it. Well what was left of it. The kids that stole it was doing a wheelie and lost control and it went under a semi. Everything is gone! It is completly destroyed. The idiots didn't even take the number plates off which still had my name on it. They called me cause the dealer never finished the paper work because it was stolen. Luckly they did file a report so I'm not liable thank god. It completly took out the underbelly of the semi. oil pan and all. The kids managed to get up and run off into the woods. That is what sucks. Wish they could have caught the kid. What is wrong with people today? After all the hard work I put into that bike! It is complety gone and no one can enjoy it. I'm bummed even though it wasn't mine anymore.

That sucks. Luckily the little bastards weren't hurt, but they sure cost some people some money. I'd like to think they may have learned their lesson but that's not usually the case.

Sorry for the loss. It's like you said, you put a lot into that bike.

I know that is the worst part is I sunk countless hours on that thing to get it where I wanted it. Thats what pisses me off. The tow truck driver even offered me the front number plate as a momento. I was just couldn't do it.

total a bike like that, it's a crime against humanity!
"Hangins to good for him, burnins to good for him, he should be torn to little bitsy pieces an buried ALIVE!"

I didn't do a rear disc mod I did a rm250 front end conversion and works rear shock. But thanks again. Only reason I traded it in was to be able to compete in races that thing didn't tand a chance against the 450's but it was one fun bike to ride. I will miss it!
Hey OFG!!!!! I need new Stickers for my CR250!!!! Hook me up. For the loving memory of my old and now destroyed 230! I'll see if I can get some picture of the aftermath from tonight I didn't even think about it when I drove out there I'll talk to dealer and see if I can get some and post up here.

They threw it over a barbed wire fence at the dealership. I had taken the ignition switch out of it.
