Because, i popped my tube and cut a slash in my tire!

What is a good tire (under 70$). Do you know where to buy a heavy duty tube?

i just bought a KENDA tire for the first time. i got the millville sticky. Dennis Kirk carries them and for the 60 bucks i paid for it i am very impressed it is real sticky in the mud and on hard to intermediate terrain and pretty good in the sand. i would suggest it for a tire. it does seem to be wearing kind of fast on these long hard trail rides though, but it is reversable. i am not sure what the size is for a 230f but it was super cheap for a 19" for my 450r and i haven't slung any tread in like 20 hrs and about 400 miles of hard aggresive rooty trail rides.

The 773 is for mud and sand. You state that you ride hard packed and rocks. I suggest that you look at the Dunlop 739 or Maxxis IT.

I agree with Jaws. i have 773's on mine but of coarse I live in Forida and all the tracks down here are sand for most part. I've had mine on for about 2 months now and it's almost time for another rear. The 739's or Maxxis IT is much better for your type of terrain.

    Jaws,
Do you know if the 773's are reversable? I might get a little more life out of mine if they are.

While I can't state it positively, it doesn't say anywhere that the tire is directional. I suspect it would be OK to turn it over and run it a while. Just watch the braking.
