My name is Dan I got Me and my boy crfs for x-mas. I go the 230 (07) and the 70 (06)for the boy he is 8. We have been having a blast on them. I wish I could have went with a model with better suspension but the power seems to fine for me. My fat but (220) puts the suspension to its limit. LOL
Looking into upgrades on that for the first mods.

Welcome to the site! If you are looking for suspension upgrades the Works Performance shock for the rear is a good choice. It is made to your weight and riding style. I'm 225 with gear on and my shock performs great.

welcome to the group. i agree at your weight the works shock is the only way to go on the rear. you also will need to upgrade the forks. the bbr springs will help there as well.

Yea I was looking at the springs for the front def. I assume they will fit the 07 it list up to 06.

She is def alittle soft which from I was reading was a common opinion. LOL Thanks for the welcome.

There are also kits out there to do a inverted fork conversion. I got lucky and found a set of rm250 forks that had the machine work already done to the steering stem. but I do know there are kits out there somewhere. ~ might be the better person to ask on this as far as where to get them.
