    Good Luck Lori!!!!

Sometimes starting out in second is easier until they get the hang of the clutch. Not so herky jerky.

Need help picking out an X???

Good luck. Don't let it end like it did for my buddies girl when he tried to show her how to ride.

Great news Ernie. It's like a lot of addictions, it builds over time. We believe!

The Kouba link is a great tool in making the 230 more ridable and enjoyable for ladies (and vertically challenged men, too). My wife just loves her 230 and the link lowers the bike enough she can firmly plant both feet (at 5'4"). I strongly recommend it!

Hey Palmrider, sounds like your wife is doing good. Best of luck to her. My daughter rides and loves it, she is 14. She has a crf100f and didnt take her to long to get used to the clutch. She rode a pw 80 yamaha before that. Once again good luck to her, its great to see some women getting interested in riding...........Don

Ernie, before buying a link bring her by the house to sit on our 230. It has a Kouba link on it. You can also remove another 1" with no problem off of the seat.

My 13 years daughter is on our 230 now, she's shocking me how well she's doing on it. I think she's going to want my wife 250X next them my 450X. She has rode the 250X a number of time. The only problem is, she has no fear on it.

"Sometimes starting out in second is easier until they get the hang of the clutch. Not so herky jerky."

We found that the default gearing on the 230F is just way to low. If you want to make this bike a lot more fun to ride, replace your rear 50 tooth sprocket with a 48. You still have plenty of low end but the entire midrange now comes alive.
