One more whack at the dead horse called "airbox"

I know I know.... do a search. I did and I couldn't find what I was looking for. All I would like see is a picture of what the mod to the airbox looks like. Some say "cut", and some say "remove". Am I cutting a hole? Or is there simply a potion of the box that should be removed? What exactly should it look like when it's done?
    Thanks

Sorry, I didn't know you couldn't delete posts. I started another one with pics on the same subject. Mods, can you please delete this one?

Here are some good pics from Mr. Smith...

Drill out the rivets and remove the snorkel. Then use a dremel tool or something along those lines to cut away the top of the air box. ( I carefully used a sawzall with a short metal blade) I left my air box in the bike and air filter in as not to get shavings in my carb, be careful not to hit your air filter. When your done pull it out and blow off your filter. Removing you backfire screen will make it breath a lot better too.
If you do this mod you will need to adjust your jetting. JD Jetting has all your jets/ needles and simple instructions. HIGHLY recommended!

The CRF 230F box is a little different but the process is the same as Jimmy has described.

The JD Jetting is not available for the CRF 230, so you will need to source the main jet, pilot jet and power up needle from Honda.
