IF you have opened the exhaust (baffle out or AM exhaust) and IF you have opened the airbox the correct jetting is a 132 main with the power-up needle. The power up needle is thicker and of a different taper completely. Use only none or both for best jetting, otherwise 120 main and stock needle work together. OK, but not as good IMO. Since Honda went to the trouble to design a needle/jet combo for the 230 why would you not spend the $ 20 bucks and use it?. My wifes 230 starts great, runs great and hauls rear with the kit. JMO.

I mostly do Carnegie and Metcalf. I prefer Metcalf though cause Carnegie is just too damn rocky! I like the MX track at Carnegie.

not bashing here but it also depends on where the bike is going to be ridden.

here in CA in the Bay Area at sea level the 120 main, 45 pilot, and stock needle 4th clip works perfect, the 132 and power-up make it too rich and you end up losing power.

but if this jetting was used somewhere else of higher elevation riding then it would work great
