I ordered this kit about a month ago for my CRF 250L. I ordered it with the megabomb header and the 13 tooth sprocket. Removal of the factory stuff was very easy. Installation of the new stuff was just as easy and fit was great. No need to modify anything. I also bought a K&N air filter which I installed at the same time and I removed the rubber inlet on the airbox. I have to say the whole kit made a HUGE difference in performance and ride-ability. I used to own an XR 600 years ago. It won't turn your 250 into a 600 but it made the bike much more fun to ride. In stock trim the bike is kind of boring on the street. When I first put it on I thought it was kinda loud. I let someone else ride it around where I was standing and it's definitely NOT too loud. I ended up putting the stock sprocket back on. If it was a full time dirt bike I would have kept the 13 tooth but the stock gearing is better for me on the street. I think this kit is a must-have on these bikes. I would definitely recommend it to anyone. The sprocket is worth a try for 13 bucks. AWESOME products

It was easy to install and it works good! 5min changing sprocket 5min off with the stock pipe 5min bolt on Mega bomb header and Q4 muffler 5min to plug in the EJK and mount it under the seat I didn\'t read manuals, I saw videos on Youtube while waiting for the package. I burned my leg above the knee 3 times on the Megabomb while having my legs in the ground using shorts. It\'s still worth it. Taxes and duty 380US$ import to Philippines. shipping 103US$ take more than 4 days to the Philippines. I love the sound and others see and hear me when I overtake and use high RPM more safe in the traffic (street legal in the Philippines) and you hear your engine and when to change gear. Wish I could just pay like in other internet shops, W/ Visa/Mastercard and not use PayPal nor bankwire transfer even though it went ok after some hustle. Thank you Ken for excellent costumer service and fast replies on E-mail.

On road, this package added a definite power gain, most noticeable on the top end, climbing steep grades etc. The exhaust, albeit the "Q4," is obnoxiously loud. Off road, the only noticeable gains came from the sprocket. After about 2,000 miles and some pestering from law enforcement, I installed the 1 1/8" quiet core insert intended for the PowerCore 4, and that brought the noise level down to a tolerable (still obnoxious) level, and didn't sacrifice much, if any power. If you primarily ride off road - buy the sprocket, invest in suspension and tires instead. If you primarily ride on road - this is a good setup, but be prepared to trade power gains for unnecessary noise.

I ordered this package and fitted it about 500 miles ago. The removal of stock and fitting of new is very simple, everything fits perfectly. Even the engine remap is simply a plug and go affair. Whether it gives any noticeable difference in power is debatable. It sounds LOUD and therefore gives the impression of more power but my friend has an identical CRF250L in stock set up, we are similar height and build and when out on a run there is no discernible difference in performance. Since fitting the fuel remap my engine has a habit of cutting out on the over run occasionally which is kind of annoying. I have just reverted everything back to stock and the bike runs perfect and the exhaust volume is much more acceptable. I'm not sure I will refit the package. It looks great, sounds fruity to say the least, but I'm not sure of the benefits. I'm also conscious when off road riding not to antagonise walkers and especially horse riders. Nothing gets their backs up more than loud bikes. I'm sure the package is tried, tested and does have power advantages, but, in the real world do they really matter?
