I've already talked to greg about this as entering as a team(as well as individual classes) but this looks like a very fun event and I think it could be a great experience to try something new! Right now our team consists of me, greg and possibly don campbell, he has yet to get back to me but if he can't make it we need an expert rider to be on our team(teams must have 1 expert, 1 novice, and 1 senior). I have to race as novice because there is not an intermediate class for some reason. The entry fees are kinda pricy at 65$ but its a 72 mile race, 3 different loops so you get your moneys worth for sure, and it comes with a free t-shirt and payouts for top time, overall and top team. Again I'm just throwing this out there, I may race this but if noone really wants to go out I'll be attending the BRP Fun Ride out at Spangler instead. |

Hey Pat,It definately looks like it would be pretty cool, but I cant get any info off there website except for A map of the course.whenever I try to click somewhere it says its A restricted site?is it me or them?
Anyway I am curious to see all the in,s and out,s of the race rules/regulations and how its ran.To be able to race at Cal City again would be like reliving my racing history.

Olivia, Ray and Kelly raced Round 5 a couple weeks ago.
Olivia took 2nd in class, 31 overall.
Kelly took 2nd in class, 4th overall.
Ray had a bellringer get-off and then got hit by another rider just as he stood up. Tough race for him. Motomanx had to go and get his bike for him as he couldn't ride it back to the pits.
They liked the organization of the race and said they will race them again. |

| Ok Don Campbell said he already has a team, so we need an expert. Too bad anthony is out because 1 more usdr and he'd be expert, you suck! Steve?? You interested in racing this one? I am still considering going to the fun ride if we can't get a team together and/or just anyone else out to race this, there is always more of these races next year.. |

| nope the team is just an extra to win the team payout, we run our individual classes and its free to form a team, so its kinda like racing 2 classes at once. Even as racing your regular class you could possibly win the overall or fastest lap payouts. |

They have updated their site. They have the race course in Google Earth. Every racer needs to have an IRC tracker at a rental cost of $25. in addition to the $55 entry fee. |
