    Obama?

    by crazybrother » Mon Oct 03, 2011 6:44 am

    Barack Obama,
    during his Cairo speech, said:
"I know, too, that Islam has always been a part
    of America 's story."

    AN AMERICAN
    CITIZEN'S RESPONSE:

    Dear Mr. Obama:

    Were those
Muslims that were in America when the Pilgrims
first landed? Funny, I thought they were
    Native American Indians.

    Were those
Muslims that celebrated the first Thanksgiving
day? Sorry again, those were Pilgrims and
    Native American Indians.

    Can you
show me one Muslim signature on the United
    States Constitution?

    Declaration
    of Independence ?

    Bill of
    Rights?

    Didn't
    think so.

    Did
Muslims fight for this country's freedom from
    England ? No.

    Did
Muslims fight during the Civil War to free the
slaves in America ? No, they did
not. In fact, Muslims to this day are
still the largest traffickers in human
slavery.. Your own half brother, a devout
Muslim, still advocates slavery himself, even
though Muslims of Arabic descent refer to black
Muslims as "pug nosed slaves." Says a lot
of what the Muslim world really thinks of your
family's "rich Islamic heritage," doesn't it Mr.
    Obama?

    Where were
Muslims during the Civil Rights era of this
    country? Not present.

    There are
no pictures or media accounts of Muslims walking
side by side with Martin Luther King, Jr. or
helping to advance the cause of Civil
    Rights.

    Where were
Muslims during this country's Woman's Suffrage
era? Again, not present. In fact,
devout Muslims demand that women are subservient
to men in the Islamic culture. So much so,
that often they are beaten for not wearing the
'hajib' or for talking to a man who is not a
direct family member or their husband.
Yep, the Muslims are all for women's rights,
    aren't they?

    Where were
Muslims during World War II? They were
aligned with Adolf Hitler. The Muslim
grand mufti himself met with Adolf Hitler,
reviewed the troops and accepted support from
    the Nazi's in killing Jews.

    Finally,
Mr. Obama, where were Muslims on Sept. 11th,
2001? If they weren't flying planes into
the World Trade Center , the Pentagon or a field
in Pennsylvania killing nearly 3,000 people on
our own soil, they were rejoicing in the Middle
East . No one can dispute the pictures
shown from all parts of the Muslim world
celebrating on CNN, Fox News, MSNBC and other
cable news networks that day. Strangely,
the very "moderate" Muslims who's asses you bent
over backwards to kiss in Cairo , Egypt on June
4th were stone cold silent post 9-11. To
many Americans, their silence has meant approval
for the acts of that day.

    And THAT, Mr.
Obama, is the "rich heritage" Muslims have here
    in America ..

    Oh, I'm sorry, I
forgot to mention the Barbary Pirates.
    They were Muslim.

    And now we can
add November 5, 2009 - the slaughter of American
soldiers at Fort Hood by a Muslim major who is a
doctor and a psychiatrist who was supposed to be
counseling soldiers returning from battle in
    Iraq and Afghanistan ..

    That, Mr. Obama
is the "Muslim heritage" in America
    .
    EVERY AMERICAN
    MUST READ THIS !!

    Muslim Heritage, my a$$.

Well, why you are right about several things in your post, you were wrong in that there were Black Muslims heavily involved in the Civil Rights Movement. Ever heard of Malcolm X? While I don't agree with many of his extremist views, Malcolm and many other Black Muslims played a huge role in Civil Rights....

My main problem with your post is that all the history you are bringing up, from the pilgrims to the constitution to the bill of rights, all was based on religious freedom and equal rights for everyone. To use these things to bash another religion is completely wrong. This is America, there is no established religion in this country and everyone has the right to believe what they want. I hate Obama, but grow up...

Staffy, you shouldn't let a few extremists speak for the entire Muslim population and lump them all together. By and large, the Muslim population does not want to wipe Christians off the face of the earth. Islam is a very peaceful religion just like Christianity that has groups of Extremists associated with it. These are extremists, just as there are Christian extremists who kill doctors and staffers at abortion clinics, judges and lawyers, and burn copies of the Quran. Extremists exist in every religion. The crusades were Christian Extremists who killed millions of people in the name of religion... Lets not throw stones.

Well the topic was about America, our president, and the role of Muslims in Americas history. Either way, Muslims for the most part do not want to kill you...

Oh Yeah! Try telling that to anyone in our military that is serving right now...
I completely disagree with your two statements above. And yes we are all entitled to our opinions. That is an American Freedom that we all share, not because of our President but because of an American Soldier whom has given his life for it :!:

There are many many Muslims serving in Americas Armed Forces right now. I bet if you asked them they would tell you the same. They are dieing for the same freedoms as our Christian soldiers are. This is a stupid argument. If you are honestly closed minded enough to think that all 1.5 billion Muslims in the world, including the 2.5 million of them that live in America, want to kill all Christians, then you probably can't be helped...

You can disagree with my points all you want, it doesnt change the fact that you are wrong. You cant argue with the fact that Black Muslims such as Malcolm X played a large role in the civil rights movement... that's historical fact...

That is a question of National pride not religions. Americas army has no religion. We have faught Christian countries, Islamic countries, Buddhist countries and so on. We fight for freedom and that includes freedom of religion. Freedom of choice for Americans to choose whatever religion they choose to believe, including Islam.

If I renounced my American citizenship and became a citizen of Australia, believing in that country enough to join their military, absolutely I would fight a war against America. If you do not believe that then you should not give up your citizenship.

The war America is fighting is a war on terrorism, not a war with a country or a religion. You should get your facts straight.

    I have a few questions.

Why do some people think that their country is better than someone elses?

Why do some people think that their religion is better than someone elses?

Why do some people think that their beliefs are right and all others are wrong?

And most importantly, why can we all just get along?

We all breathe the same air. We all live under the same sun. We all bleed when we are cut. We all have dreams. We all have nightmares. We are all human beings!!!

I do believe my country is the best. It's national pride. If I didnt believe it I'd live somewhere else. Everyone believes their beliefs are the best, if they didnt they'd believe something else. While we may believe ours is the best, that doesnt mean we cant respect others beliefs and customs. We all need to work at getting along...
