    2006 CR85 Clutch help!

    by krisrtch » Tue Mar 08, 2011 6:39 pm

I'm trying to replace the shift shaft in my sons 85 and in order to do this I need to remove the clutch and clutch basket. I have removed the clutch springs but the center bolt of the clutch assembly is it reverse thread or standard? I ended up breaking one of the pressure plate tabs where the bolts for the springs go. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

typically 1-2 days from Honda but typically two days depending on when the order is submitted to honda. if they don't have it in their CA. warehouse it would be 3-4 days.

So is the centre bolt a standard left hand thread or right hand thread?

Take care to do it up to the correct torque and a light thread lock compound doesn't go astray.
My sons bike had a habit of backing off if not done.
